The Cost of Luxury

I was watching Oprah today and there was a real estate agent on the show, John McMonigle, who is listing a home in California. The home is $75 million dollars. Oprah asked the agent, "who owns the house", and the agent wanted to protect the owners privacy, so he declined to say.

Whateva! Does he not know about the internet? Anyway, I found that the home belongs to Frank Pitt, retired founder of Seattle-based software company Attachmate. Go on Frank with your bad self.
It has 8 bedrooms, 10 baths, is 22,000 sq. ft, and it's also a SmartHome.
It is said to be the third most expensive home in the United States.

I need to do a little more research to find the first and second most expensive. That'll be a future post perhaps. LOL

Do you know anyone with a spare $75 million laying around to buy this?
